Description
The BOD tester is designed based on the principle of the differential pressure method, which simulates the bio-degradation process of organic matter in nature. In the sealed culture bottle, the oxygen in the air above the culture bottle continuously supplements the dissolved oxygen consumed by the decomposition of organic matter in the sample. The CO2 produced during organic degradation was removed to adjust the air pressure in the culture flask. By monitoring the change in the air pressure in the culture flask, the BOD value of the sample was calculated.
